What does my new puppy come home with?

Your new puppy will come home with the following…

Do you offer a Health Guarantee?

Yes. We offer a two year guarantee the against health, congenital and/or genetic defects.

Are puppies able to be shipped?

At this time we do not ship puppies.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover), check (for deposit only), or cash. Please visit our pricing & payment page for more information.

How much does a Strong Oaks Goldendoodle cost?

A Strong Oaks Goldendoodle puppy costs $2200. If you are interested in one of our puppies please visit the available puppies page. We require a $300 nonrefundable  (transferable once to a future litter at Breeders discretion) down payment to hold your spot in our selection process. At 7 weeks of age temperament testing is completed. Puppy selection then takes place in the order of which deposits are received. The remaining balance is due upon picking up your puppy.

What is the difference in Goldendoodle Generations?

F1 = Golden Retriever x Poodle

F1b = F1 Goldendoodle x Poodle

F1bb = F1b Goldendoodle x Poodle

F1 is a purebred Poodle crossed with a purebred Golden Retriever. They are low to non-shedding. This generation can be good for those with mild allergies, but we recommend going to an F1b or higher generation for those with allergies.

F1b is a purebred Poodle crossed with a F1 Goldendoodle. They are less likely to shed than the F1. This generation is more suitable for those with allergies.

F1bb is an F1b crossed with a Poodle. They are non-shedding. They are the most suitable for those with severe allergies.

How do I pick the right puppy for my family?

Here at Strong Oaks we have years of experience matching the right puppy with the right family.  We run temperament testing on the puppies at seven weeks of age. Once all of the tests are complete we will recommend a puppy that we believe best suits your family. The more specific the information you give on your application and when talking to us, the more successful we will be in getting you the right puppy. Things like lifestyle, age of children, work schedules and other pets in the home all play a large role in finding the perfect puppy. Of course, our recommendation is just that, you are free to select from any of the available puppies.

How do I reserve a Strong Oaks Goldendoodle Puppy?

First, fill out our Adoption Application or give us a call. We review your answers on the application and contact you by phone or email. After deciding that a Strong Oaks puppy is a good choice for your home, you may put a $300 nonrefundable (but transferable) deposit on a puppy. At seven weeks, once temperament testing has been completed puppy buyers choose their puppy based on order of deposit received. We help you make the choice by informing you of each puppy’s temperament.
